Re: Trade Rumours 2024
I haven't read what Hawthorn signed him for, but I did hear that the Saints offered him 950k per year!Comment

Re: Trade Rumours 2024
Yeah 6yrs at 950k from the saints which he turned down. Apparently signed for less with the hawks whilst telling saints fans he wants to move on as he's got a young family!Comment

Re: Trade Rumours 2024
Apparently Richmond fans think that should net them 4 first rounders. Bolton is worth 2. GCS will pay up for Rioli because they have to do that to get players in and with the Hardwick factor.Doing my best to use emojis more frequently :oComment

Re: Trade Rumours 2024
I doubt it but wouldn't blame him for looking elsewhere. I like him as depth though, with Keath likely retiring and Jonesy getting on. I can see him getting a call up and doing a job if we're desperate. Also seems like a ripping team man, evidenced by him playing forward in the VFL and making a good fist of it despite it not being his ideal position. Our 1954 premiership players are our heroes, and it has to be said that Charlie was their hero.Comment

Re: Trade Rumours 2024
I like having Gardner on the list for a few reasons and given he has a contract until the end of 2026 I'd be surprised if we would allow him to leave unless it was for a regular senior gig and that is unlikely. With Keath likely to retire I hope we keep him.Western Bulldogs Football Club "Where it's cool to drool"Comment

Re: Trade Rumours 2024
Treloar seems like a really good fella all round, I don’t understand how GWS or the pies let him go , the ultimate proffesional and very loyal person. I understand the cash problem at pies but I’m sure I would have let others go before him.Bring back the biffComment

Re: Trade Rumours 2024
Houston has said he's not going anywhere so that puts that to bed.
In other words, Melbourne are a train wreck and no one else wants me.BT COME BACK!

Re: Trade Rumours 2024
Everyone would want him, but not for the 2 first round picks Port are demanding. He could probably force their hand to accept less if he wanted to but I guess he's not that homesick.Comment

Re: Trade Rumours 2024
With some of the (fanciful) trade ideas floating around for the Richmond players that want out, I wondered if we could get involved in them in order to extract a better pick for Smith.
Seeing Baker extract more value than we'd get for Smith would be hard to accept. Even Rioli and Bolton delivering 2 first rounders and us getting like pick 20 and a 2nd for Smith would be a kick to the nether region.
It sucks our star mids seem to want to play for teams with no draft capital. But can Power hook into these tiger deals??Comment

Re: Trade Rumours 2024
I'm still relatively new to the forum so pardon me if this is a silly question, but do we have any posters on Woof with a link to inside knowledge regarding trade and list management stuff that share from time to time? Only asking because it's not often we see those kinds of posts, and it's mainly info from BF and other areas that is shared chinese whispers style.Comment
