Another stunning example of the AFL throwing a scapegoat under the bus. I mean, how Cheney ended up with a warning out of all this is beyond me.......well, it isn't really.

We do seem to be an after thought in most AFL decisions.

Crazy Cheney was warned, nice way to incentivise integrity.

They disincentivised integrity so they could maintain integrity in wagering.

If that's not entirely logical then I don't know what is.

With Collingwood and Geelong having traded for Kreuger, it still leaves the Pies with around 2735pts. Talk that North won't take Daicos at 1 but I would expect Collingwood to go into the draft assuming they do. Means they have 335 pts or so to play with. Pick 46 is worth 331, so I can see them offering that for Lipinski now.

I was hoping Lipinski deal be done first

My fear is if no one else they need to bring, no one else to trade for and it’s just a matter of accumulating picks for points in , once they have enough then he walks to the PSD.

Talks with Pies have started on Lippa, but early days.

Will see Melb end up with the Dogs' pick 17. Dogs get more points to help match Sam Darcy. Adel get Melb's future 1st rounder. STK a stronger draft hand

Depending on how many spots we have. We could trade 23 for two picks for more points.

Trading/splitting Pick 23, Young, Lippa, others will cover the points.

Might not have a late draft presence. Maybe brings Raak passed Pick 41 & MacPherson passed pick 52 more into frame. Perhaps rookie elevation between drafts.
