There must be some sort of pleasure gained from taking a shot at someone who has just been sacked but I don't get it. David and Mark might not be everyone's cuppa which is fine but sticking the boot in when they're down isn't classy. I know David and he is a nice bloke and I wouldn't wish that type of public dismissal upon anyone let alone some who has worked at SEN for 12 years.

Good riddance from the airwaves, but bad form by SEN, that is why I posted this:

To think we might have the chance to listen to Adam Cooney each day now must excite people.

Just so I don't make a fool of myself. Exactly how many days mourning is there for Leech and his media career parting? I was emailed about three days of rage, but I think that's something else. It's hard to keep track of things in the modern world.

He’s pretty good in the media , but I reckon he snipes on social media to often . Gets a bit smarmy also

Not that I'm aware of but it is likely to be from the Croc Media stable
We won't know for a while who will be given the call up

Well, that's that, I'm done with SEN. ABC all the way now, even when the footy season starts. Over it.

I didn't mind Ox and Marko but I couldn't bear that terrible morning lineup, it was unlistenable. Much prefer Fran Kelly!

SEN should have handled it better but they need a serious refresh.

Come to think of it, there aren't many I enjoy listening to anymore.

David King I like listening to. I don't always agree but I like his analysis and I find he calls it as he sees it.

Ads. Thousands and thousands of ads. SEN appear to have reached a tipping point between ratings and advertisements. I think the ratings are falling in part because when I channel surf on the radio every time I tune into SEN ads are playing.

I really only listen to off the record (Hutchy's Saturday morning show) on SEN now. If a sports fanatic like me can't be arsed listening to your 24/7/365 sports station then you have a problem.

I agree about David King, I like that he challenges the status quo.

I think I stopped listening when they had that advert where the clearly ethnic person called Franco was running around a home supply superstore speaking a camp ethnic Australian accent about toilets, and the narrator asking "can somebody please get Franco off the toilet?............awwww Franco, it's not connected!"

That was in about 2009. It's poisonous ear pollution as a radio station and I don't know how anyone can bother with it, much like any commercial football game day call.
