Seems like a weird reason to cancel an AFL game.

The game sold out within hours. Capped at 10,000 it didn’t even get to general public sales. A lot of shattered Pies fans I reckon.

Yeah it’s on. Interestingly they’re saying it’ll start at 8pm tonight. All the other lockdowns have been from midnight. I mean to me 8pm makes more sense but I wonder why the sudden change.

Poor Victoria back into lockdown for 7 days due to 6 new cases. Thoughts with you guys and gals again.

Yeah that’s my assumption too. My question was more why all the other lockdowns haven’t been 8pm and why all of a sudden the government has finally realised this.

Dan offered up the answer, he said 8pm had to do with the lesson learnt from the Ms Frankie (restaurant) outbreak. I assume that makes sense, as I’m not across it.

Chin up. Get it done in seven days. Then it’s 3.5 weeks before finals turn up. Hopefully the capacity is 50-75% as finals progress.

IF it's in WA and IF we win the first final, imagine flying over straight after so you can get through quarantine in time for the grand final. Watching the prelim in a hotel would be the most nerve racking experience of all time.
