Putting on my Bulldogs nuffie hat, I'm pretty nervous about all these cases in the western suburbs. Really hope our players are adhering to a strict bubble type arrangement, but even then, family/friends/housemates etc who live and work in the region are a chance of being caught up in it all.

AFL have already shown their hand when it comes to players missing, too. Imagine going into a final without the Bont because he went to Yarravile Coles on the wrong day.

Bont lives nowhere near Yarraville so it’s all chill.

I’ve personally seen JJ at that Coles but that might actually ease some selection headaches.

3-5 so far, and a positive case played for Newport vs West Footscray on the weekend directly exposing another approx 40-50 people. Numbers will increase in the area very quickly.

Tasmania records one new case in quarantine from NSW traveller

Tasmania has recorded one new case of COVID-19 from a NSW man who flew to Launceston via Melbourne on Monday.

He was taken into quarantine, so he was not in the Tasmanian community. Yesterday he left the state to return to NSW.

Premier Peter Gutwein said there was minimal risk to Tasmanians given the man was in a “travel corridor” in quarantine, and airlines require masks on flights.

“There is no need for people to panic,” he said.

An AFL game in Launceston between Hawthorn and Collingwood scheduled for Sunday has been cancelled.

Yep, new COVID Case in Tassie means hawks/Pies game cancelled and moved to MCG. Puts the following weeks game against the dogs in danger.
