Yep, it's a ripper venue. Saw Rolling Blackouts there last year. And have Drive By Truckers in late March there.
Also seeing MJ Lenderman at Howler and Wilco at the Forum in March.

        Taylor tonight.
I saw Groundhog Day in London in July. Same actor played the main Bill Murray character in both UK & Australian productions I believe.

Saw Matchbox 20 and Goo Goo Dolls at Rochford on Saturday, far away from the Swifty masses!

This is a question that cannot be easily answered.

Taylor herself was pretty incredible and to play 45 songs or whatever it was - including 2x solo ones that she changes every night (one on guitar, one on piano)...she puts on a show that is almost beyond belief.

The pure emotion in the crowd though is impossible to describe. We were down on the 'grass' of the G not too far from the stage. At one point, in my row of say, 12 people, I was the only one NOT crying. People are just crazy for her and so 'dependent' on her and you DO get caught up in the whole thing. I'll watch the movie now that I've been to the concert but honestly i have never experienced anything like it - and the only thing that has come close was the collective "We're gonna win" feeling that followed the Picken goal late in the 2016 GF...except if EVERY SINGLE PERSON AT THAT GAME had been a passionate Dogs fan.

It was remarkable from start to finish.
What should I tell her? She's going to ask.

I live across the road from the G, and I can tell you, the crowd was louder than the 2023 Grand Final.

Also, after the concert, everyone was so well behaved, especially compared to footy fans after matches.

They wouldnt have needed any police presence, such a wholesome and inspiring evening for women(mainly) young and old.

My wife and daughters went and it'll be a life long memory. I doubt we'll see a tour like this again.

Not really, she is a better song writer than she gets credit for.

As my wife puts it she has a song for every women in evey moment that they can relate too.

                          I like Taylor.

My two favs would be Cardigan (folklore version) and Safe and Sound.

                          More folky stuff.

She does write a lot of breakup songs though Chef!

I've never had to register to buy tickets before. A ballot to buy? Anyway I take it no news is bad news? Waiting for an email from Ticketmaster to buy Pearl Jam tickets tomorrow and nothing. Can anyone else shed light on this?

I'm in the same boat. It was done to combat the bots that buy up all the tickets. We have quite a few people registered so I wouldn't panic yet, we should get an email today sometime. Pretty sure we are meant to receive an email whether successful or waitlisted so no news is just no news at the moment.
