Not really.
The models were crap when James Freud joined. Mark Ferrie on bass and Andrew Duffield keys.
I saw both versions in the last 2 years. The Ferrie, Duffield, Kelly line up is so much better than Kelly, Frued ,whoever one.

Was interesting that both Kelly & Fraud were both in the Teenage Radio Stars together before Models even exsisted, Fraud joining later on, but both have been writing together since the early 70's.

The "original" original line up for Models being Kelly, Ash Wednesday, Johnny Crash & Pierre.

They bought ot a minialbum, must have been 86-87, called Cut Lunch.

One of the greatest recordings by an Australian band ever. And it's got Too Cabs on it as well.

It was actually released in 1981, they finished recording the EP, went straight to Essendon airport, and made video clips for each of the tracks.

Workmate's band is playing the Labour In Vain this Saturday from 5pm. May pop down for a look. Alt-country type vibe from what I can gather.

22nd of Jan at Festival Hall. If you're lucky, there might still be some tix, but they are NOT cheap. It'll totally be worth it, though. And I have to agree with the love of those three!

One of my favourite all time bands (Warped) played the Townhall Hotel on Saturday night. Tore the place apart, had a great time going nuts to the songs then heckling the band between songs, as is the way of the true rock demon.

Still ridiculously tight despite it being only their 2nd gig for the past 7 years. Telling the crowd to f--k off when there were calls for an encore was a nice touch

Thanks for the report Mofra, sounded like a great show! I really wanted to go but my boyfriend's band was playing elsewhere so I was all tied up. I have very fond memories of seeing Warped play every night for a week at the Townhall Hotel, good times.
