Just got home from Shirty Trombone and Orleans Avenue plus Michael Franti.

Good gig, though Franti and Spearhead have gone sugary sweet more than positive/optimistic social commentary,

Franti has been playing dorky stuff for a few years now.

Have seen Trombone Shorty many times. Have loved his shows each time.

Went to see Joe Lycett at Hamer Hall last night. Absolutely hilarious and weirdly touching in the end. Highly recommend.

Sleaford Mods for me on 3 June and then IDLES again late July.

So I guess you can say a pretty rad few weeks coming up.

I never would have thought I’d miss an Idles gig, but given the finances, the fact I saw them so recently and the venue, I’m probably not gonna go to this one. Gonna catch Bad Dreems at the Corner though. Looking forward to that.
