My sons band (choof) are playing at the Bendigo hotel tonight and just finished a tour of NSW and QLD .
I would call it loud noise at my age (59) but each to their own.
They just released an album a single and were on rage the other week and you can find both his bands on Spotify the other being party vibez.
Some two headed monster has become their moniker.

They have a lot of merchandise . Shirts,caps, beanies, records even a 3d monster . I find it all quite hilarious.

Just saw The Living End at Festie Hall, 25th anniversary of their debut album. They never disappoint and Chris Cheney is a guitar god. What a night.

Yarraville club tonight to see The Monkey Men (feat members of You Am I, Tex Perkins band, Even etc) celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Stones playing Kooyong. Saw the 40th anniversary one at the old Flying Saucer club and it was brilliant.

I've seen heaps of bands get into fights onstage. I got into a fight myself with a member of Blue Ruin one night back in the '80s.

I was standing right up against the stage in front of the guitarist Muslim when a friend of mine dropped something (purse, smokes, keys-i can't remember) on the stage and couldn't reach them again so I leaned over and grabbed them for her. Mulaim thought I was fiddling with his wah wah pedal and kicked my arm. I'll put up with a lot of things but not being kicked-and I don't care who did it so I jumped up on the stage and we had a bit of a fracas.

Luckily the bouncer and I went to school together or I probably would have ended dumped on my arse on the Upper Esplanade outside the Venue.

Mulaim came over after they'd finished playing and apologized for misreading my intention. We ended up becoming mates.



I've seen worse. I once saw Henry Rollins kick a guy unconcious and then deposit him back into the moshpit. To be fair the first thing he said was that the stage was his area and nobody was to jump up on it

This story sounds vaguely familiar but still entertaining none the less.
