    Love it.

    One of my favourites, many favourites, is when Creed and Jim are playing chess;

Creed: Hey i want to set you up with my daughter.

Jim: Oh, i'm engaged to Pam.

Creed: I thought you were gay?

Jim: Then why would you want to set me up with your daughter?

    Creed: I don't know.

Seeing Steve Gunn this Friday night. My fist gig since 2020. Looking forward to it with some apprehension.

Went and saw Robbie WIlliams at the O2 in London last night. Surprisingly good. A real showman.

Antoine heading to see Peter Hook and the Light? I see both Melbourne gigs are sold out. Heading to the gig here in Sydney. Looking forward to it playing both Joy Division albums in full plus a selection of New Order songs. Can’t wait.

Both Joy Division albums? Thats going to be a long night.

Actually cancel that. I just checked and both albums collectively have a running time of less than 90 minutes. I'd love to hear them live.
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

Yep both albums plus other songs as well including Transmission and Love will tear us apart. I know it ain’t Joy Division per se but it is the next best thing. Peter Hook does a reasonable job on the vocals.

                  Sounds awesome.

I'm a massive Queen fan and have seen them three times in the last few years. I was raving to my friend about Adam Lambert and he said something like "I don't know how you can be so passionate about Adam Lambert because he's not Freddie" and I'm like "because this is the nearest I can get" and it just didn't compute for him.

So I get exactly what you're saying WTLF. Have an awesome time.

                  Also, Adam Lambert is excellent.

Hook is an experienced and talented singer and they are all great songs with fantastic lyrics. I know that Curtis had a fairly unique vocal delivery but I'm sure Hook would do a great job

Re: Recent Gigs & Upcoming ones

Went and saw Rolling Blackouts at the Northcote Theatre. First time in the venue, which is a pretty impressive space. 2nd time I’ve seen RBCF this year. Took a little bit to get going this time, but once they hit their stride they’re an absolute force of a band. Probably my favourite Oz band at the moment.

Idles at the Forum next week and managed to snag some Angel Olsen tix for next March.

Painters and Dockers doing a show in St Kilda on 11th November to coincide Paul Stewart's book launch. Should be a fun night

                              I did hear dat funder.
Idles were very good, the Forum was rammed, it was pretty hectic. Hearing Idles Chant was a very pleasant surprise.
Despite going to a number of gigs I’m either getting old and past it or struggling a bit to acclimate to densely populated spaces.

Be like me, stand at the forty five, 10-15 metres out. Always good viewing and plenty of room. It's my go to gig plan and has never let me down.

Also, that wasn't a show it was an experience. Can I get a hallelujah?
