QOTSA and NIN tonight, BOO YAH! It's been the only thing getting me through work this week...
Did you enjoy it? I went the Saturday night. I don't know much Nine Inch Nails but really enjoyed the more upbeat songs. "Survivalism' is a new favourite! Was at the barrier to the side for Queens of the Stone Age. They sounded great & Josh Homme is just a cool dude. Had my heart set on them playing 'Monsters in the Parasol' which they didn't. I need to stop hoping for songs.
Have been offline for awhile. Went to Soundwave in March. The Living End kicked arse. Such a great live band. Also saw Rob Zombie & Korn at the Palace in a sidewave. Rob Zombie - fantastic!!

Good to see you back Suz 32.
The concert blew my mind! I was hanging out for "In My Head" and "Burn The Witch" and got both so was pretty stoked. I didn't know any NIN either, but still found it amazing. They opened with "Copy Of A" which is my new favourite.
I've now got Naked & Famous and Ballpark Music coming up, and hoping I can get to Graveyard Train in June.
Wake me up when we get to heaven, let me sleep if we're going to hell
Good luck, for your sake I hope heaven and hell are really there, but I wouldn't hold my breath
I went to Boogie Festival this weekend, which actually provided me with a double benefit because not only was it totally sick but I also didn't have to watch the apparent garbage on the weekend.
Hunx and His Punx/Shannon and The Clams was one of the best things I've seen.

Off to see Rhys Darby tonight, not really sure what to expect as I have only seen him as Murray Hewitt in flight of the conchords. But that dude just looks funny, so should be good.
Caught Dan Sultan at the Forum last night. I love his voice, and he wasn't even at full strength (appeared to be nursing a bit of a cold). Kram from Spiderbait came out and drummed for a track and Kingswood (my, my they are some hirsute individuals) were backing vocals for another. Stonefield were also awesome as support. I also love the Forum - as a total shorty (I am only 160cm), it's one of the few venues where I can usually see the whole time!

Went to The Used/Taking back sunday gig last night at 170 Russell (Billboards- you can't polish a turd). Was really surprised at how good the used were considering the last time I saw them their lead singer was rubbish.
Any other woofers head to the gig?
"Loves a scrap....oh yeah & he's a pretty handy footballer as well"
I had wanted to see it for ages, and went with the family.
The PA they use brings the performers voices very clearly, it was absolutely amazing how it sounds alongside the performers in the pit. I'd love to know how they rig the venue up.
TF is this?.........Obviously you're not a golfer.
