I went to the myer music bowl on the Saturday night.

From memory he played about 5 songs from Skellton Tree.

Others were a mixture; Higgs Boson Blues, Tupelo, Higgs Boson Blues, The Ship Song, Jubilee Street, From Her to Enternity, Into My Arms, Red Right hand, Mercy Seat.

Encore was People aint know good, I think he started playing Nobodys baby now then stopped and launched into a 10 minute rendition of Stagger Lee and ended with Push the sky away.
More of an In Bruges guy?

He did the Carny in Ballarat. That would have been good to see.
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

Me too. I'm not a fan but the wife loves them.

I'm going too. Got cheap tickets, they have been heavily discounting them - the MCG is a massive venue to sell out.

Reviews out of Brisbane have been very positive, should be good.

How do Axel and Whitshisname the guitarist (slash?) get along on stage? I thought they didn't talk?

They just stare at each other over a much needed pile of cash

I saw the Saints a few years ago with Ed Kuepper and Chris Bailey ignoring each other through the whole gig. Years before that I saw Chris Bailey plumping his hair in front of a mirror and saying "do you think Ed Kuepper would like my hair better up or down?"

I saw that gig. Ed had half a stage to himself

It was still pretty awesome to see them on the same stage. It was on the bucket list along with a bulldog premiership.

What happens when you get to the end of a bucket list?

                        Get a bigger bucket?....

I saw twelve ft ninja at the village green a week back, they were great live. I usually can take or leave most prog metal but they were really tight. Really interesting crowd there too, such a mix of stereotypes due to the music style.

I'd love to see TFNs. A long time ago (nearly 30 years now) I reckon we all drove out to the Village Green to see Painters and Dockers okay. Reckon it was a Thursday night.

And yeah, a bigger bucket would be better than the other option.

I went and saw Descendents the other night. They were great and Milo may have set a new trend by wearing a Camelbak through the whole gig....
Support was Nursery Crimes who I'm pretty sure I last saw at EV's supporting ALL in 1993 or 4. Also playing at that gig were Fireballs and Helium (pre-Bodyjar). I'm old now.
I'm going to see Spoon at the Croxton in March.

Going to see Damian Cowell's (TISM) Disco Machine with Tony Martin tonight at The Corner. Should be interesting.

I wish I'd heard about that before 8.15. Oh well I'm so flat broke ATM it wouldn't have mattered anyway. I don't think I can even afford the train fate to stand outside (or does Wayne still run the Corner? I might get my name in the door!) and listen.
