Saw Neutral Milk Hotel & Superchunk on Saturday night (missed M Ward). Unbelievably good gig. Superchunk were super tight sand just nailed it. NMH did an amazing job of bringing really richly textured songs to life in a live setting. There were more accordions, brass instruments, banjos and bowed saws to keep anyone happy

Guitar Wolf on the 1st with Mach Pelican. Japanese Rockabilly, which is the genre that would outlast all the others if every genre was entered into a Hunger Games style tournament.

Also Boogie Festival in March/April just released tickets and lineup; Pond and lots of dolewave, should be awesome.

Ja, got my Boogie tickets already - will be year 5 now of attendance, great festival.

I remember Mach Pelican from many years ago - can't believe they're still around.

Picked up my Rainbow Serpent tickets this week, and I'll probably invest in Let Them Eat Cake at the Werribee Mansion for NYD.


I don't suppose either of those options will arouse much enthusiasm from fellow woofers, but I don't care, each of them will lavish me with awesome tunes and fun times!
