went to see You am I and Hoodoo Gurus a few weeks back. Hoodoos were as tight as ever and played a number of songs from Stoneage Romeos.

Looking forward to seeing the Oils next month. Anyone else heading to some of the gigs?

I went to that show too. Had never seen Hoodoo Gurus before. They were insanely good. 10/10 would definitely see again.

Going to the Tote tonight to see Danjo, who are half of the Dead Milkmen. The DM’s are one of my long time favourite bands who’ve not been to Australia in a career that spans about 35 years on and off.

Love the Dead Milkmen. Big Lizard in my Backyard is one of my favourite albums of all time.


I saw Harem Scarem at the Gasometer the other night. Jesus they are good. That Palmer kid can play the guitar.

I went and saw Live at The Sidney Myer Musicbowl on Friday night. It was my first time at the venue and was blown away by the sound in that place. I was fairly close so the sound didn't travel as it might had being the open area.

As for the band, Live. Wow, just wow. I've been and seen Ed a few times solo before and always really impressed. Just blown away by the show overall, it's left me on a high since and I've still not come down. Anyone else go?

I saw AC/DC at the Music bowl in 1980 (they did 8 nights before crowds of 80 000 when you include the people getting a free look behind the barriers, almost the entire population of Melbourne at the time must have popped along) and the sound was bouncing off the shell and running up the hill. It wasn't an echo it was something else.

I saw AC/DC at the Music bowl in 1980 (they did 8 nights before crowds of 80 000 when you include the people getting a free look behind the barriers, almost the entire population of Melbourne at the time must have popped along) and the sound was bouncing off the shell and running up the hill. It wasn't an echo it was something else.

After coming back from an unsuccessful tour of USA in 1976, they played at Myer Music bowl with a crowd of only 5000 initially. They then opened the gates and let people in. Things certainly changed by 1980/81.

There's thousands of people who saw them play at Altona high (I think it was Altona) school too. Their enrolment that year must have been massive.

Thinking I might have to fly over for Easter Sunday and do the Dogs v WC game and then head to Gomez @ 170 Russell (Formerly Billboard). Looks like Adelaide is missing out this time around.

Went again last night. Only bought my ticket on Monday. Another brilliant show from the Foo Fighters.

They just know what the crowd wants and they deliver in spades, everytime.
