Re: A League
Victory outplayed tonight by a well organised West Sydney outfit.
Missed Archie and Traore badly, and just can't cover these two.
Rojas was completely marked out of the game.
Marvellous performance from Tony Popovich thereComment

Re: A League
Galloway was very good in place of Traore. Think sometimes Ange is a bit too smart for his own good.
Nabbout on the wings wasnt really working and I'd have swapped him and Flores and had Nabbout attacking the ball. Our first shot within 10 feet of goal came after 42 minutes. That is just silly.Comment

Re: A League
Reckon Ange has accepted that this year probably isn't the year. You can't have a quarter of the team running around with less than six games experience and expect to get the result you want. He knows this though and he'll fix most of the areas we lack depth in.
Traores' red card was pathetic. These ref's need the book thrown at them, long with the appeals process. It wasn't even a yellow.
There has been brigth lights with some of the young players who've been blooded. Galloway has been enormous, Pian took a well executed goal and Ansell (until injury) looked like a certain stater for CB next year.
The gap between our best and worst is only usually one senior player currently.Comment

Re: A League
Incredible win ( cue the great escape tune)
Really listless effort and pretty lucky to be honest.
Nabbout coming on was big as he added some vibrancy
Lucky penalty, and going to be an enormous challenge next week.Comment

Re: A League
In the end , we got the two best playing in the decider.
Gotta a feeling the Mariners might edge it.
They've lost GF's of Magpie type proportions since inception.Comment
