They want to use everything this year. They might be scared that the AFL could take away the future picks if they performed well next season.

The dees look like they've given up a lot to move up 3 spots.

They've either got bigger plans in mind or clearly don't rate the depth of the draft.

I cant see any of the clubs with top 5 picks trading out.

Yeah this is the thing. North you'd think would prefer to keep 2 and 3 and get on some real quality.

Can only think the hawks but that's also a lot to give up for a 2 pick upgrade.

Agree. Only way west Coast trade pick 1 is if they are getting at least 2 or 3 back. Maybe 4 with a really enticing offer but can't see them going all the way back to 6.
