If this were us and we had just won the flag it would be reported as:

Premiers in crisis as star player wants out after being overlooked for GF

But since it is Collingwood it will be more like:

Little known player seeking opportunities elsewhere as the Premiers have a dearth of talent and need to let fringe players go.

They're not likely to be hitting the draft this year. Hamling, Jordon already confirmed and with Grundy and Adams likely they're clearly topping up.

Good. Let them stay in perpetual recycling mode where their peak is an 'almost' top 4 finish once or twice per decade.
Their fans do it real tough.

One last roll of the dice for Longmire

They want to get Seb Ross out of the midfield and if they can get the best out of Dow they might achieve that.

They've got some great youngsters so perhaps not the last roll.

Pretty sure De Goey doesn't look 'like that' and he broke clear in the last quarter from Dunks (who does) and kicked a goal.

Aye, four of their top-five B&F place-getters are 23 and under so Horse has plenty progressing through the ranks with which is something of a pity because I'd be all over him he was looking for a new challenge.

He must have been at Sydney for a while as an assistant and head coach. 15 years?

Good guess, he's been at he Swans as an assistant and then head coach since 2002 and took over for Roos in 2010.

21 years. Apart from Jock McHale that must be getting close to record territory coaching at one club.

Bevo and Longmire each have one cup?
