I'd take a role player who isn't universally seen as being cooked, or at least had some scope for improvement. The only way for Harmes is down.

Yes even Dees fans say he's been cooked since 21, plus he's 28.
Not sure he has grunt either, more a bit of a macho sniper.

I'm just not sure this is true. I've spoken to two different Dee supporting members and they think he is tough and while he has been out of form the broader team is strong and competition for spots is tough.

They seem to think he still has something to offer and so do we obviously.

Time will tell.

I’m in the ‘dont’t mind’ camp for Harmes. Would be in our best 22 and can be a role player. Can tackle and would be a good player to play a lock down role if required. Understand the concerns but if there are no better options and comes cheap I am ok with this.

If he's in to be a tagger and maybe depth forward pocket when we don't plan to tag it's maybe not the worst idea but have to admit it has the feel of a TOB/Hannan to it
