    Re: Early Trade Rumours 2023

English is the ideal 2nd ruck in he's good forward holds his marks and a good kick at goal that's where I would like to see him but that will never happen because that's not where he see himself.

I think he is ideal first ruck for modern football.

I think a Ben Hudson type would be better if they don't win the tap they can hold up play so the troops can cover the 666 situation.
Tim doesn't keep the ball in, it looks good when he does win it and comes out of the middle like the over grown midfielder he is but that doesn't have a lot during a game.
When the oppo get a run on could the ruck to more do slow things down.

          Swans need a ruckman

Swans big man calls time on remarkable football journey

Tom Hickey has announced his retirement after 13 years at the top level

The fight is here; I need ammunition, not a ride.

Grundy and Treloar contracts would be a warning to any club, especially Grundy if he gets injured....

Chumps. They know nothing about recruiting in players for success.

Their last premiership side had R Shaw, Richards, Mumford, Mattner, Morton and Kennedy from other clubs. Went close with Buddy and Hickey to name a few others.

                      Marty Mattner, there's a name I haven't heard for a while.

Plus McCartin & Clarke last year played in the GF.

2005 flag had Hall, Bolton, Jolly, Williams, Davis & Ball.

Losing GFs in 2014 & 2016 also had Tippett, Laidler & McGlynn.

That?s 19 ring ins playing in six GFs in 17 years.

If I had to name names and considered playing in GFs as a success.

Mike Pyke too if we are including internationals to win a GF.

Crows have slashed the offer to Doedee. Basically getting him at a fraction or allowing him to go, even somewhat cheaply. I wonder if that rekindles our interest?
