Won a double pass to Nasum on friday night at the Hifi, unsure whether will go or not. Nasum have a huge reputation but they lost there lead singer in the Thai Tsunami so not sure what they will be like with a fill in. Psycroptic supporting would be good though.

I've got a good three week in October/ November with Noel Fielding's standup gig in Melbourne (he's not the best comedian out, but I fangirl the hell out of him so as if I'm NOT going?!), followed by The Black Keys, then Ben Harper with a 2 hr acoustic set. Should be pretty fun!

Got Soundwave tickets on Friday. Cannot wait to see Metallica again. Plus two more of 'The Big 4' have been confirmed in Slayer & Anthrax (hoping Megadeth are on the 3rd announcement). Plus Linkin Park, Bullet For My Valentine, Offspring (if they play early stuff that'll be good)...... really looking forward to it.

Been the last two years, this years line up is massive, but nothing that makes me want to spend $200 on a ticket. Only bands I would be keen to see would be Anthrax,Cypress Hill, Slayer, and possibly Kyuss Lives (although without Oliveri and Homme whats the point). Still the biggest festival lineup yet, juts not my cup of tea. Last year was the best imo.

They had me at Metallica.

I guess each years lineup caters for different tastes. My husband has been the last 2 years & preferred the 2011 lineup (Iron Maiden, Slayer, Rob Zombie etc) to this years, although he still enjoyed it. I had a ticket for this year but was only going for System of a Down so sold it when they announced a sideshow. You have to really like a few bands on the lineup to justify spending the money.

I have tickets to Oh Mercy at the HiFi in October, I then went and booked a holiday. I am now no longer going to Oh Mercy.
