I was there Saturday Night. Brilliant show and legs ached yesterday! I had a position near the rail midway, on the right hand side of the soundbox. Pretty good view when he came up the ramp onto the platform and sang the accoustic songs (Including when he got a lucky 5 year old up there to sing Big Me - would have killed to be that kid, one of my favourite songs).
Also enjoyed Tenacious D immensley, second time I've seen them live.
Just as Dave said - Rock n Roll shouldn't have fancy computers or go for 1.5hrs. They should involve real music and go for 2.5 to 3 hours. $140 I think I paid and that was the best $140 I have spent gig-wise!
Venue was good too, first time ive been to AAMI Park. I know what you mean Suz but open stadiums, not all will were gunna abide with smoking rules! Expected and smelt plenty of the Mary Jane
