Good news on Friday night games being live on SBS next year. Great step for the league.
Interesting to see what they do with the Friday night spot.

Would be great to have a match of the round each Friday night. Space out the derbies and rivalaries, there are already a few. Only takes 9 rounds until they teams play eachother again.

Very good performance from MV tonight.
The first half was ordinary, Perth Glory looked like they were playing for a point.
The second half MV were better and good value for the 1 Nil .
Marcos Rojas has been a revelation and just wonder how long until he plays in some O/S league.

Was a great game, thought Heart deserved a point .
It's turning into a cup final as the only time Heart are up for it.

It's the only A-League game I really enjoy watching ATM.

I took TCP last night. Paid top dollar for Premium seats. Money well spent. Atmosphere was electric. Agree with Remi, Heart didn't deserve to lose, but how often do you see that in sport where the team that plays better loses as the other team makes the most of limited opportunities?

Gotta hand it to Archie Thompson, kept persevering all night, even when things weren't going for him. Suffice to say this Heart supporter wasn't too thrilled with Archie.

                  Re: A League

Absolutely shattered as a Heart fan but most important thing is how huge derby is for the A-League. I love the atmosphere at Melbourne derbies, makes the AFL feel like something mum and dad think is cool.

I'm a bit bitter but Archie is a bit like Milney in how he prefers to celebrate in front of the opposition fans rather than his own. Never really get that.

Weird to say but as much as the reaction from Victory fans hurt, it was awesome to see such positiive passion at a 'football' league game in oz. Never thought I'd see the day!

Cannot promote the Melbourne derby enough. It's not just for Victory or Heart fans, or even football/soccer fans, it's becoming a great Melbourne event.

I'm also a fan of Heart, and have seen you post regularly on the MHFC forum (you are pretty much the only poster worth reading there btw).

I couldn't attend last Saturday due to a mates birthday, but have gone to all the other Heart games in melbourne except the Perth win.

Atmosphere for the derby looked incredible though, and it was a really entertaining match. Was really shattered to lose like that, and I really dislike Archie, along the same lines as your Milne point.

For anybody else considering it I highly reccomend getting down to Aami Park. It's actually a really good game at times (like all sport it has some crap moments), and when they play well it's exciting and attacking football.
I should leave it alone but you're not right

                      Wow, just wow!

Took my family along to AAMI Park tonight, fantastic atmosphere again. Victory cruising at 2-0 before conceding 2 goals, only for Rojas to score a spectacular winner!

Won't be too long before he signs for a European club.

Big weekend for the Victory with Central Coast & Adelaide both losing.

Ange has been great for Victory. Not too long ago they looked old and boring.

Rojas, Archie, Finkler, Traore and Flores certainly provide entertainment.

Archie usually does that Tim Cahill corner flag Kung foo kick routine.
Wonderful win tonight considering a makeshift defence .
Hilarious seeing. Leigh Broxham marking Heskey.
Just hope they can keep Rojas until the end of the season, he is lighting up the league.

I haven't been to an A League game yet but from what you guys have said about the crowd it seems like they are really into it. Football in our country has come a long way from the old NSL days.

Don't know when Adama Traore's Australian citizenship comes but he is brilliant.
Best left back in the country.
Should have won by more, as The Kiwi's were absolutely dreadful.
Better than being bowled out for 45 I suppose
