All may not be as it seems with Petracca wanting out. He may also be the problem in the eyes of some of his team mates.

Interesting what he did to his team mates on their trip to the US and he leaving them stranded when they were supposed to be all in it together meeting up with Ben Simmons. You don't burn mates no matter what.

Happy to let him play at one of the "big" clubs.

Houston would be a fine addition given we likely have Busslinger and Croft coming through for KP depth.
Id prefer we draft a mid with whatever we get for Smith but I certainly wouldn't be ruling out Houston because of his height.

Wasn't against his height, it was the fact Ralph compared him to Jones coming to end of his career - its not a like for like replacement.

Yes that seems his likely destination if the Suns can satisfy Collingwood as he is contracted.

I don't think the real intention of his suggestion is a like for like replacement for Jones but more that he would come into a competitive team and be a strong contributor while Jones is being phased out. He could have worded it better.
My preference would be a mid or another emerging tall defender but adding someone like Houston would a 'chips in' acquisition for us.

Hard pass on trading any incoming picks for established players.

Let's hit the draft again!! We cannot lose site of the fact Tassie are a couple of years away and will take a strangle hold on the drafts.

I bank on Busslinger playing next year.

Buku is kinda being developed as a backman. We all know his flaws. Not sure if 1-2 kg of muscles and a big Gym preseason will help. Some players just don't have the frame or game for physicallity.

I reckon we need another mid to develop. I hope McNeil can start playing in there next season. His one of ours now, regardless how bad his finishing.

Assuming that we lose Keath to retirement, we've still got a bit of depth with Gardner, Coffield and Khamis along with Busslinger and Croft coming through.
We will get another year from Jones, if not 2, and Lobb should be right for at least 2 seasons.
Trade wise we don't urgently need another tall defender but another Bramble type would be tempting

If we do in fact have a million to pay out, and say Baz and F2 got us a first and F1. Would you entertain handing over three late firsts (one this year, two next year) and probably a CD/Macrae type to get the deal done?

Or do you want a KPD like Barrass (but not him as he seems Hawks bound)?

I think I?d prefer a Jones replacement and firm up our defence.
I would run on the smell of an oily rag to get Trac.

                          That's basically the farm.
But then again, I'm an Internet poster and Bevo is a premiership coach so draw your own conclusions.

Various articles I've read he seems a bit like Bailey Smith wants a big club to push his brand. What is it with players these days. I thought you played the game for the love of it not for what you can milk from it.
They get paid very well and if they are smart that could set them up for life.
