Re: 2023 List Management Thread
I think our needs have changed a little bit and we were desperately lacking grunt on the inside against the Hawks and GWS in particular, so I'd hope we are looking for a contested, centre-square on-baller through the draft as well.Comment

He mentioned having an eye to the future with regards to having players come in as our mid brigade ages (more in the context of the draft) but also mentioned earlier that the priorities established at the start of the year hadn't really changed (more in the context of trade discussions)[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]Comment

I'd love to know how he plans to keep our first pick and not have it go towards a bid on Croft.Comment

Re: 2023 List Management Thread
We certainly should be expecting more. We are flexible with a number of scenario's.
Whats the problem with picking from later in the draft? Power mentioned that the draft list is strong early (we like it) and then evens out after that (the depth is pretty good).
We also held our ground that we wanted a 4th rounder in the Dunkley trade and the indication is that we may not use it now.
We took just 3 picks at the National Draft last year and it looks like we might do something similar again this year.
If the depth of the list isn't that great and we missed finals surely we need to be a bit more darting than that?Western Bulldogs Football Club "Where it's cool to drool"Comment

Re: 2023 List Management Thread
Lets see if we can move up the order but if we land Croft and just 2 others from the draft it's another strong indicator that we are rating the list that we have.Western Bulldogs Football Club "Where it's cool to drool"Comment

We either have to trade players for picks or swap first rounders for multiple 2nd
Not true at all - players available may not be as good as the ones you have on the listFFC: Established 1883

You've also said that this year we didn't have depth so shouldn't we be looking to take some chances given Power mentioned that he liked the depth of the draft?Western Bulldogs Football Club "Where it's cool to drool"Comment
