Rock'n'roll is where I hide is one of the best Australian songs of all time.
Yeah, yeah, Karen
And Nick Barker played on Footscray a few weeks ago. Used to love the Wreckery, saw them many times and have every record they released on vinyl.
But list two is next level. Freak scene, Don't wanna know*, Teenage Riot, Alex Chilton and Cannon Ball are all amongst my favourite songs ever. I've seen 8 of the bands on list 2 and 8 on the other list too.
*I once went to see Bob Mould solo. I was talking to him after the gig and he swapped his guitar pick for a cigarette. I still treasure it
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

Wouldn't it just fall apart the first time he used it on his guitar?
Flamencodanza from Barcelona (not Sevilla, my earlier post incorrect). Excellent flamenco plus some Brazilian & jazz guitar (Baden Powell, Coltrane) and a stunning female flamenco dancer. Last night motley bahaus, Elgin st, Carlton Sat 17th Feb 7-8pm. And then at Gas works Pt Melb Tues 20th to Sat 24th Feb 7-8pm. I highly recommend them.
Josie :)
Our day will come
And we'll have everything.
We'll share the joy
Just like '54 again.
I went and watched 'Groundhog Day the Musical' last night.
Was pretty good...the restart post intermission was a bit 'dark' and out of place but other than that, really entertaining.
Taylor tonight.
I think I'll go and see Groundhog Day. Loved the movie, and have warmed to Minchin over the years. I did hear some bits and pieces of it on the radio, and eight years down the track from it's premiere some of it sounded a bit dated, but much like The Book of Mormon if you put that to one side it's probably fine.
How was Tay Tay?
The triggering impact she has on people is astounding to me. Just let people be happy FFS!
TF is this?.........Obviously you're not a golfer.
