    Will we extend Sanders?
Aren't Tassie meant to enter the league in 2028? Even if he had no intention of leaving North why would he extend past the Tassie start date? Or does this mean they already know Tassie won't start in 2028?

I imagine we would be happy to sign Sanders whenever he wants. I expected a 1 year extension to the end of 2027 to be a formality but perhaps that is going to be pushed out a year.

North have done well to extend Mckercher to end of 28

I think you've buried the lead there Axe. Reckon it's a real possibility that Tassie's introduction is delayed by 12 months.

I don’t mind Jack Scrimshaw from the hawks. In and out of the team since Barras and Battle came on board.

It's expected that Tassie will be able to sign an out of contact player from each club over a two year period (2027 and 2028). McKercher could still end up there.

Yeah good call, he’d be a brilliant fit for us realistic in that he wouldn’t be a massive priority for Hawks with their defence.

Im not completely across the hawks this year, I thought he pretty much plays every game he’s available for but has he been dropped? I thought he’d just missed a few games through injury etc

if he’s out of the side he’s absolutely one we should target

Carlton ITKs think they're a decent shout to get Fritsch at the end of the year.
As far as I'm concerned, they deserve each other.

                        Do they need him?

Carlton relay on Cripps too much and he is not really in form this year. He can't do it all, so they need to get him help

Possibly a sign that they're expecting to move on one of McKay or Curnow?

Hewitt is having a very good year. Walsh hampered by injury, and there is Cerra they'll assume turns around as well. They shed Mennedy because they couldn't fit all of heir slower contested mid into the rotation.

Fritsch is an odd one though as he's so hot and cold. I'm not sure I understand the logic behind it.

I wonder if we will have another crack at Xavier O'Halloran at the end of this season. He has been excellent filling in the midfield for the Giants, and has shown he has more strings to his bow than simply being a pressure forward.

Read something recently about how we've gone off him now. Might have come from Mitch Cleary. Something along the lines of "dogs no longer in pursuit"
