Would we have any interest in Jade Gresham? I know there is a deal with Shiel bubbling away between the Saints and Essendon but would he be worth considering?

I'd rather focus on player retention and hit the draft.

I would be very keen and am surprised we aren't. Think he's be an immediate upgrade on Arty/McNeil/Garcia and wouldn't cost any draft capital.

Gresham and Dow were two guys I thought would be handy to look at mid-season, I think we might've missed a trick with both.

GWS have told clubs they'll pay a portion of Nick Haynes' contract if they want to trade for him.

Haynes is apparently on $1.3 million next year! Obviously some back ending going on there. GWS willing to pay $500-$700k of that.

He's still got a bit to offer but it comes with a bit more risk than I'd be prepared to sign up for. He's obviously pushed his money back to help GWS and it's now become a problem.

Dylan Shiel didn't attend the Essendon B&F and his 200 game milestone wasn't acknowledged during the milestones segment of the night.
