As I mentioned earlier, I would be keen for Harmes as a small forward if the speed is still there.

I think we really struggle with some of the peripheral roles. Small forwards, wings and a small defender. I am not sure how much is about personnel and how much is about our systems, which have a huge effect on how good your depth looks, but we really struggle to fill out our 22.

But... he's not a small forward. He's a hybrid HF/mid on $400-500k pa depending on who you listen to.

I agree we should look at a small forward. If we're talking to Harmes, we're picking the wrong guy.

To be fair to Jake, "Athletes don't have abs" is 100% a thing.

We aren't selling jeans (or in Harmes' case, speedos)...we are trying to win footy games.

Pretty sure De Goey doesn't look 'like that' and he broke clear in the last quarter from Dunks (who does) and kicked a goal.

I'd take a role player who isn't universally seen as being cooked, or at least had some scope for improvement. The only way for Harmes is down.

He seriously can't go much further down. He was shot 2 years ago. He was dreadful this year. Please NO.

I had a six pack but after learning that it wasn't athletic enough I worked extremely hard on developing my one pack.
