Injuries have not been kind. Seems a handy pickup if he gets fit. If not it's worth the gamble of a list spot for supposedly 2 years (+1 if triggers met) on not much coin

I'm not sure why people wre excited about this? Just another player who's in and out of the team, injured or just a deck chair. We just cut a few players clogging list spots who are similar and we're signing another on for multiple years. Watch us over pay on this one.

Did his acl in 22 and struggled with a calf injury this year.

Had an excellent 2020 but an average 2021.

If he can get his body right he's got a lot of potential.

Are Coffield and Lippa like twins?

Same junior club. Eltham. Same high school Whitefriars. Both barracked for the Bulldogs as kids (that is rare when you live in Eltham).

We took a calculated risk with Schache and he kicked four goals in the wet one day.
            TF is this?.........Obviously you're not a golfer.

Oliver has a reputation of being a bit of a lad and party boy, big pass for me.

I read on BF that Coffield played the last 4 rounds in the VFL and I just looked up his stats. It's got to be a positive that he finished the season well and will be ready go day 1 of preseason for a player that had missed nearly 2 years of footy.

Anyway next year we will have both.
I seem to remember that we were very interested in him back then but Saints got in first

Same height as Tim O?Brien and is a good reader and user of the ball. I?m excited by the prospect of Nick coming over. Like Tim has struggled to stay on the park particularly after an ACL but at 23 there is a lot of upside if he can get a run at it. For mine a very good moneyball prospect should it come through.

In his one full season of footy in 2020 Coffield finished 5th in the Saints B&F, and was 4th for marks across the competition. Might be something there if he can stay on the park.

Rumours of a huge gambling problem, among other things.
Media are openly talking about Gawn offering his home for Oliver to move into to get himself right.

There's still a lot to come out about this.

As an aside I read that he lives in Camberwell, so I'm wondering if that's the gaming lounge at the Palace or a few doors down from me at the Tower (which has to have a sole purpose of washing money).

Just jumped online to check out Google images of the Palace gaming lounge, and they don't have them, but what they do have are images of the old nightclub upstairs. Gawd some ordinary memories from that space (late 90s early 00s), especially one of a fatagram that was hired at a 21st I was attending, which happened to be the third or fourth time I'd seen her at a 21st over the previous three years. I really hope people don't still do that.

Melbourne have had their fair share of gamblers over the years, at some point like all clubs they may need to admit their issues might be cultural. While I'd not be surprised if some other issues with the party party were prevalent, the gambling would worry me most.
