Yes, and until it's definitive that it didn't it will linger. But I don't think we'll ever get to that point meaning it will continue to linger.

I assumed he meant the (undeniable) subterfuge and covering up of what was known by the Chinese early in the piece that set the rest of the world back in its response, rather than the conspiracy that China released a virus intentionally or that it was made in a lab. But Sedat can speak for himself on that.

That's exactly what I meant Jeemak. Nobody will ever know if it was deliberate or accidental, but there is no doubt whatsoever which country the virus emanated from. I'll go back to refraining from commenting further on this thread.

It's kind of funny that an opinion only gets political if someone perceives it to be. No matter how plainly or objectively it might be stated at the time.

An opinion can't actually be stated without it being viewed through a particular political lens, and that's exactly what's holding back genuine discussion and consensus. The main reason why some/ a lot/ most of the goofballs who choose politics as a career get away with the bullshit they do is because we're so busy throwing bananas at each other once we speak our minds instead of just listening to each other and chilling out afterwards.

Also QR codes only became mandatory this week in Sydney.
