Ah yes, the Seven Nights of Sin week. Was at the Saturday show & bought a pair of Warped Rock Jocks for my then GF - the first (and only) piece of lingere I have ever bought a girl.

There are still a pair of Warped undies hanging at the front bar.

I went to see Les Claypool last weekend. Obviously his sound isn't for everyone, but the show was just astonishing...for anyone who gets the chance to see this guy I couldn't recommend it highly enough - have a look on YouTube (this is a good link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uFuWU...eature=related ) to see what you will be in for...

Les must not be much of a favorite of the ladies though - the venue probably holds about 500 and was packed - but I think the ratio was 497 guys, 3 girls.

What should I tell her? She's going to ask.

Primus had some good moments (Pork Soda a was great album) Can you imagine what Metallica would've been like if Claypool got the bass gig?

I'm still schtooked from Meredith. Truth be told, I had a great weekend but have never paid for a weekend in my life as I am paying this week. 3 days on still tired.

I saw Animal Collective at the Forum a few weeks ago. Pretty impressive considering I'd heard they could be erratic live. Tough to recreate some of the moments off the records particularly the vocals on Merriweather Post Pavillion but did a pretty good job. Played quite a few off MPP and one or two off Strawberry Jam. Fireworks was impressive.

Looking forward to Future of the Left in a few weeks. If anyone's going to Fall's and you don't watch this band, you're missing out.
Also bought tickets to see Wilco in May at the Forum.

Caught Jarvis Cocker at the forum in Melbourne a couple of friday nights back.

                          He was simply awsome.

Jarvis came, we saw, he conquered!

FOTL is the nest one I'm hanging out for. Shortly after there is a collection of Them Crooked Vultures, Clutch, AC/DC, The Pixies, Golden Plains & Boogie Festival I've managed to either buy or acquire tickets for so will be a busy start to the year.

Yep, looking forward to the Pixies. I missed them last time.
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

Saw Florence & The Machine a few weeks back - and White Lies before that. Going to Vampire Weekend in Feb. Also, there's a young guy called Ben Howard - unreal sound. Plays guitar in a very percussive way - uses his hands and the guitar like a drum. Saw him in a basement under a bar in East London. Absolutely sureal.

Ben Howard's profile including the latest music, albums, songs, music videos and more updates.
