Thanks! It was a great concert. Hamer Hall is just beautiful. Great acoustics. I think they could have ditched the support act & played for 3 hours themselves - they have such a large catalogue to choose from. I saw them in Launceston in March so between the two concerts have seen them play most of my favourite songs. They are the ultimate professionals.

Isnt Williamson the guy who wears the blame for destroying the original Stooges? From what I've read the Asheton brothers hated him but Iggy was a big fan of his and when it come to "us or him" Iggy choose him.

Many years ago-it must have been the early '80s -I went to the Royal Melbourne Show. 3XY had a hall set up and The Sunnyboys played a 30 minute set every hour. I reckon I sat through 5 sets. What a great day.

The last I saw them was at a pub in Richmond, I think it was the Central Club. Jeremy Oxley had set hmself the task of drinking an entire bottle of vodka before the gig was finished. After they had played pretty much every song twice Peter Oxley and a couple of the roadies physically dragged him off the stage.
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

Went to the brilliantly titled "Cup My Balls" at the Tote yesterday, sort of a showcase thing for some local bands. Went to check out this band Harmony but was super into this other band I've never heard of called Deep Heat; sounded like a lo-fi (read: less talented) version on Les Savy Fav

Still waiting for my 2013 Rainbow Serpent tickets to arrive. When you've forked out over $220 for festival tickets the wait for them to show up at your nominated address can be tough, especially when you've nominated your work address as the point of receipt!

Poor old Nancy on the front desk is probably starting to get sick of me asking if a registered post package has arrived for me

Earlier this year I decided to finally give the festival a shot after many years of waiting for my bro to come back from the UK to attend with me. As it happens, he's not even going to go this time around now that he's back.

The quality of music, sound systems, lighting and diversity of crowd is something to behold. Sure, it's not for everyone, I suppose, but all of the mentioned attractions plus great dj's I can't wait to see have me pretty excited.

I bought a ticket to Brother Ali. It's cool to go to a hip hop gig on your own yeah?
Anyway looking forward to it, love what he does.

So jealous, not so much a fan of Brother Ali, but am gutted that Sean Price is touring but no show in Brisbane. Would be an awesome gig.

Very impressive. Massive production and their list of hits is never ending.
