I was hoping by this stage he would have put a bit of muscle on. Good luck with your career Youngy.

Agree these guys need to do what’s best for their careers it’s part of the business now.

Carlton are really building some list !
Carlton gave George Hewett 4 years. 4! He didn't get offered a contract by Sydney, and is a midfielder who averaged less than 18 disposals a game and did not have one scoring shot in 2021 in his 21 games - NOT ONE! 4 YEARS!!

      Carlton are hilarious.

Crazy ! Does that mean under the mystery algorithm the Swans get superior compo?

Lewie Young is Andrejs Everitt and will end up having a similar career. We will no doubt play someone ahead of him with perhaps less natural talent but who is more able to define and play a role.

I'll bet Tim O'Brien ends up with us next year and plays more football than Young would have anyway.

O'Brien, Naughton, Weightman, Hannan, Jamarra - do oppositions have that many backs to jump on?

It's the right decision by lewis good luck to him. While we are at it, Lewis Young will never be a ruckman, doesn't have a ruckman bone in his body.

O’Brien to take the Wood role? We’re desperate for more height and marking in defence.

That's what they are suggesting on Trade Radio. https://twitter.com/traderadio/statu...931445250?s=20

In Skinner out Young, I'd be happy with that. I'm really keen to replace Woods role with a Tall, and when we play games against smaller opposition let's get Keath off the leash.

I like him well enough but not the slightest bit worried about this. Good luck to him.

                          So, in summary

                          IN: 4TH rounder OUT: Young
                          IN: 4TH rounder OUT: Lipinski
                          IN: 2 X 2nd rounders OUT: Pick 17
                          IN: Tim O'Brien OUT: nothing
                          IN: Ceglar OUT: 4th rounder
IN: Sam Darcy OUT: heck load of draft points

                          I'd be ok with that....

Obrien looks good one day and bad the next, we just gotta find a role he can be more consistent in. Defence it is I reckon he is worth a look. One thing for sure he did play well against us in tassie late on in the season it's not surprising he is on the radar.

                              I'd rather Wood.

O'Brien is not exactly a giant, listed at 192cm. I'm not sure he offers a decent mark in the back half but another undersized defender who will have to match up with bigger opponents.

                                Jeremy Howe role
But then again, I'm an Internet poster and Bevo is a premiership coach so draw your own conclusions.
