Too good to be in the magoos though as you say.
Hes selfish and doesn't do the team things(chase, tackle, sheppard etc)that are non-negotiable at good clubs. That's why he gets dropped.

    I'd stay clear of him.

I like him for his skillset but agree with Chef mostly. Not sure I'd steer clear if the opportunity presented to nab him, but he'd want to shape up as a team player if he wants the SS prefix.

I think Mofra has mentioned him a few times plus Chris Doree has also linked him to us but I thought if we were after a taller key defender (197cm) then Sam Skinner might be worth a look at

Skinner worth a look for sure but how would we gwt in first? He takes more marks in that game than Cordy has since 2016.

We've got some work to do to secure anyone but Darcy but once that is done I can see Power trading back into the draft.

We have some good names at Footscray that might be available later in the draft as well.

We can always maneuver with future picks as well.

He was delisted by a Brisbane at the end of 2020, so does that make him one of those free hit players that we can take without using the draft? Or does he still have to nominate for the draft and you only get him as a free hit if he isn’t picked up?

I am concerned trading future picks will harm our list management in 3-5 years.

If we trade 2023 picks it will be the third year in a row we don't hit the draft other than a highly rated youngster.

                    My limited understanding is Yes.

Not surprising. Maybe upgrade our fourth this year for some points.

It's disappointing that again, after a successful year (one short of it all), we now have multiple players wanting out/reported as entertaining offers.

On face value it's more than understandable and each player individually isn't a huge loss, but unless we replace them adequately it hurts our depth.

Contrasts with Weideman at the Demons doesn’t it.

Agree these guys need to do what’s best for their careers it’s part of the business now.

Carlton are really building some list !

Nothing against Lewis personally, but I'm not the slightest bit fussed by this. Understand that others may rate him, but he isn't a player that interests me.
