Actually, having just got my Metallica tickets, I'll be more disappointed if they don't play "One".

I think you'll be pretty safe there, they seem to play it at every gig, like Master of Puppets, Enter Sandman & Seek & Destroy.

That reminds me of when i saw The Cure play, around the time of their Bloodflowers album, and me not being a big fan as such, probably only knew 2 or 3 songs from the 20 something they played that night, which didn't disappoint me too much, i'm not a fan of bands coming out and just playing their big hits every time, i quite enjoy hearing more of the obscure tracks.

Unless you are desperate to get inside of the circle stage, the best spot from speaking to a few people who have been to see them on the 360 tour is just outside the ring, but pretty much front on, for best visuals & sound, and shouldn't require too much time lining up.

My 16 y.o. daughter wanted me to get tickets for her to see Usher (whoever that is).

What a nightmare the Ticketek website is, nothing ever available. Spent ages trying with no luck.

By not getting her tickets, you have done her musical taste a service. Kudos.

Got my daughter Big Day Out tickets again for 2011 the other week. She is very excited that Ratatat and Black Keys will be playing as well as the many other bands.

My 9yo daughter wants me to take her to BDO in january. I really want to go because Iggy is playing but I'm a bit unsure how I'd go taking a 9 year old kid.
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

Saw the Henry Wagons show at NCSC last Monday night, mate's birthday.
He does have an ego the size of a small moon, but jaysus he can play. Had 4 microphones on stage and used them all, often during the same song. Very good banter between songs too.

I went and watched Ed K last night. (Lead singer of Live)

He put on a great show. Mixed a lot of the Live hits amongst his own new songs. I never got to see Live in their prime so this is probably the next best thing. I Alone, Selling the Drama and All over You and of course Lightning Crashes were all played which was sweet.

Some very interesting gigs in Feb/March next year. Les Savy Fav, Deerhunter, Gang of Four all playing sideshows from festivals and The Hold Steady are playing Golden Plains which will hopefully lead to a sideshow.

Golden Plains is a real disappointment next year. Apart from The Hold Steady there is not much else in OS bands. After 3 years of great acts the put on head liners like Belle & Sebastian and Joanna Newsome. All they need is to add Little Red who are head lining Meredith this year to complete a trio of sock c..k girly bands.

Primal Scream are doing there Screamdelica album at the Forum on the 2nd of Feb so I might go to that.

Ya, have a wedding to go to so can't do Golden Plains anyway. Would have been interesting to see Hawkwind but it's a pretty underwhelming line up.

Tempted by the Andrew WK show at the Hifi in late Jan. Tickets not on sale yet.
