Anyway I've been watching live Refused on YouTube in anticipation of tomorrow night and a gig I thought I'd never see. (Apologies to Coldplay fans by the way but I really can't stand a thing about that band)

You might find this funny then. A mate sent it to me on Facebook.

Hope it works. If not, search YT for "Coldplay is shit"

Just got back from Radiohead. It was amazing. Almost the entire set came from three albums (King of Limbs, OK Computer and my favourite, In Rainbows). Going again tomorrow night and can't wait.

Btw also saw Tom Campbell there, which makes it the second concert in about 3 months I have seen him at. Appears to have good taste does Campbell.
I should leave it alone but you're not right

Love to hear more about the KISS Kruise DG. How does their performance / show compare today to when they were at their height back in the early 80s etc ?

I saw them in Bologna in Italy in September; one of the guys I went with went again last night and said it was a much better show here than over there, which I am FILTHY on.

Was still an amazing night, but what a bastard thing to say

Hadn't planned on seeing Radiohead, but managed to pick up a comp ticket through a very generous mate and went on Saturday night.

The production quality was excellent, and the sound was such that you didn't walk away with ears ringing.

                  It was pretty amazing.

Poor old Nancy on the front desk is probably starting to get sick of me asking if a registered post package has arrived for me

Earlier this year I decided to finally give the festival a shot after many years of waiting for my bro to come back from the UK to attend with me. As it happens, he's not even going to go this time around now that he's back.

The quality of music, sound systems, lighting and diversity of crowd is something to behold. Sure, it's not for everyone, I suppose, but all of the mentioned attractions plus great dj's I can't wait to see have me pretty excited.
Where have the last two and a half months gone?

Heading up to Rainbow Serpent tomorrow afternoon. Really looking forward to getting away for a few days of camping, solid times with solid friends and excellent tunes.

See you in a week or so Woofers!

Saw Band of Horses at the Palais last night - probably one of the more relaxed rock n roll gigs I've been too (helped I had an aisle seat to stretch out in)

                      The Funeral sounded great

Got tickets to see Dropkick Murphys and Frank Turner at Festival Hall in March. Saw both last year and really enjoyed their gigs. It must be the 6th or 7th time I've seen DKM, love them. Frank Turner is brilliant, his gig at the Espy last year was A+. Could listen to his music all day, great acoustic guitar and song writing.

Flogging Molly and Lucero in a few weeks. Lucero have been my find of the past few years. Just got a very cool country/rock sound that is really their own. Latest album 'Women & Work" is a ripper.

William Elliot Whitmore's bluesfest side show should be terrific. Got tix for Xmas, I want to play guitar and sing like him. Just a freak. Then to follow up again at the Corner - Jimmy Cliff! A genuine legend.
