Bruce, Keath and Jones came to us for the last contract at post prime age. O'Brien was effectively a delisting without a home.

The only wanted player Collingwood seem to have lost is Ollie Henry who had the family pull to Geelong. The stars you refer to in Treloar and Grundy (I assume) where pushed out due to salary cap issues.

To be fair, Aliir Aliir wasn't even out of contract when Port Adelaide poached him out of Sydney. That totally blindsided everyone in the industry.

I obviously don't remember it right. I thought we were into him. Or at least, there were rumours throughout the season we were into him. Or....our fans wanted us to be into him. I specifically remember it.

Option 3, our fans were wondering why we didnt make a move.

Matt Suckling was good value. Unfairly treated on this board. Dare I saw EW bullied him!

                          Cost vs ability.
He's as outside as outside can be without being an elite user of the ball that someone that outside should be. Not an elite tank for the way he plays.

I hope he plays a lot of football, good luck to the kid, but what Freo will ask for him is way more than I'd be prepared to pay

Pretty sure I mentioned something about this a few weeks ago.

Between he and Cody we'd become the most hated team in the comp.

Not sure what his contract status is but given he's played VFL all year surely they won't be able to ask for much for him if he asks to leave. Only 20 and was a rookie pick so even a 3rd rounder is a return on their investment arguably
