If we didn't, we'd be stupid. Let him rehab on our list and bring him in second half of next year.

Money Talks: Swans? offer may net Kangas top two in draft

Sydney are emerging as frontrunners to win North Melbourne defender Ben McKay?s signature after the Swans missed out on West Coast?s Tom Barrass.

Essendon were considered McKay?s likeliest destination if, as expected, the restricted free agent pursues a big-money contract elsewhere, but rival clubs, who spoke on the condition of anonymity because they do not want to talk about other clubs, believe the Swans are favoured to land the big Roo.

The belief among those same sources is Sydney?s offer will be significant enough to trigger band-one compensation and potentially arm North with the top two picks in this year?s draft.

They have met McKay, just as the Bombers have, sources familiar with the situation told Money Talks.

That could have an impact on the Kangaroos? chances of gaining priority access to Tasmanian talent Ryley Sanders, who is considered among the best eight players in this year?s draft.

          Ben McKay’s manager doing a great job…

Would suck to WCE. Beat us and go from pick 1 to pick 3. Hope it was worth it.

                Where's that been reported?

For a guy that's struggled with notoriety, I don't think going to the biggest club in Australia makes a heap of sense.

He hasn't exactly tried to hide from the limelight.

Could see Collingwood appealing to him, and well, any league footballer. Who wouldn't want to play regularly on the G in front of 60k every week?

Treloar's manager was on Gettable and said that Adam is happy at the dogs and intends to see out his contract and hopefully his career.
                    No intention to move North.

Liam Henry as good as gone from Freo:

Longmuir is confident he has the core group of players needed to bring the club its maiden premiership, but it appears increasingly unlikely Henry will remain a part of that mission.

Fremantle has tabled a contract extension for the 21-year-old, but the in-form winger is yet to make his intentions known.

"The ball's in his court. We're awaiting a decision from him," Longmuir told reporters on Wednesday.

"I haven't given him a timeline. These things usually come post season.

"Belly (Fremantle football boss Peter Bell) has been on record saying the longer these things go, the more likely they don't go our way.

"It's frustrating. But in the end, we've given Liam a lot of opportunity and tried to develop him the best we can to get him to this point where he's playing consistent AFL footy.

"He's been at the club for a long time now - since he was 13. It would be disappointing if he goes, because this is the best place for his career and for him to continue to develop."

It was never a strong rumor and especially not a well thought out one.
                          Thanks for confirming.

Plus he'd want to keep a close eye on her in case Dimma is lurking around with intent.
