It's curious that people's internal sources have been more and more confident of Henry coming to the Dogs only to hear about him being linked to the Hawks (never heard that one before). I wonder if this is a case of us being lied to (us the club) to get a better offer or a change of mind by the player?

Probably more the case of being used as leverage. Doesn't take much for a manger to leak something in hopes of finding something better.

i think you'll find we won't be mentioned much at all in terms of free agent or someone seeking a trade. I don't see the western bulldogs as a destination club for anyone unless they're on their last legs and want their last contract.

I loved the Stringer article earlier in the year where he said he loved the bombers and isn’t going anywhere .
They forgot to add he had no choice anyway.

They are full of skinny kids with no hard built bodies to crash packs or go in hard.
The Dodoro dynasty continues .
SEN had a good chat about how many Essendon players are or could be A-Graders .I think it was to pump up the club but they couldn’t think of one ! It backfired, how I love the continual spiral down of that club. Just when you think they can’t get any worse they find a way .

Rebuilding our midfield is the name of the game this off season. Doubt we'll be big on the trade front, we want kids.

West will be doing off-season training camps with Bont and a few others, he wants to crack regular minutes in our midfield next season, not one of our players requesting a trade.

All sounds realistic and sensible. My guess at the players requesting trades would be McLean, Buku and Sweet. Delist Roarke and McComb.

I think we need to cut deeper into the list even if the 3 fringe players all find other homes.

We've delisted two in Bruce and Hannan. You would imagine 3 of Khamis, Crozier, McLean and Sweet would be the three fringe players looking for other homes. In the firing line would be McComb, R.Smith, Bedendo, McNeil and Raak. Perhaps Duryea gets another season.
