Re: Recent Gigs & Upcoming ones
got my Dropkick Murphy's tickets. Been my favourite band since 1998. Seen them 5 times. The band that captures my definitive teen years, uni years and early adult years. They've put out some shit recently, but the latest album was great.
They always do a great show.Time and Tide Waits For No ManComment

Yeah am looking forward to finally seeing them, have succesfully managed to miss them everytime they have toured down under. The videos I have seen online for them live look insane, will be another band crossed off the bucketlist.Comment

Missed the first support band but watched the second band, King Cannons. Never heard of them before but didn't mind them.Comment

Re: Recent Gigs & Upcoming ones
Saw Marching Orders twice this week. They are my favourite local band, by a long stretch. As good as any street-punk type band anywhere. Great local Melbourne band.
The Business at the Tote last night was a ripper. Packed to the rafters, steamy from the rain outside, amps blowing up, it was all happening. Despite the shitty conditions the crowd went beserk and they played a lot of a good stuff. Melbourne's punk /skinhead scene was out in force.
Lucero played before Dropkick Murphys and although I don't really like the indie scene too much these guys were very good. Nice country / indie / rock mix. They played a very good set, won me over.
Dropkick Murphys were terrific, as usual. I think their show as lost a bit over the past few tours, not as much bagpipes or genuine Oi inspired tunes but they still have an amazing energy about them. I was in the pit all night and absolutely ruined the next day.Time and Tide Waits For No ManComment
