Re: Recent Gigs & Upcoming ones
Actually, I didn't really blame him. The guys in front kept calling "more vocals" for J, even though the sound was fine. After about half an hour of this Lou cracked it and blasted them. Then kept shaking his head angrily for the rest of the show."It's over. It's all over."Comment

Re: Recent Gigs & Upcoming ones
Any Sparta fans?
Jim Ward is playing next Friday at the East Brunswick club.
On top of this, he's just tweeted that Sparta are going to start recording a new album in the coming weeks.
Good times."It's over. It's all over."Comment

Re: Recent Gigs & Upcoming ones
Today I purchased Ed Kuepper tickets for the NSC on 9 of Sept. Hope to see TwoDogs there.
A mate of mine won Monster Magnet tickets for the 15th of Sept.
I also purchased tikcets for the Harvest Festival at Werribee Park on the 12 of Nov. Headlining is Flaming Lips, Portishead, and The National. Wasn't that interested until I heard Death in Vegas and Mercury Rev are also on the bill.Comment

Re: Recent Gigs & Upcoming ones
Remember when i was talking about how i hated Soundwave Revolution? Well the festival has now official been canceled. If you've got a ticket you can get a full refund and they will be announcing smaller individual events with the bands still scheduled to come out, but that's still going to be a massive disappointment for some people.
Not for me, i've happy that i'm most likely going to be able to see Devin and maybe Gojira.
Mars Volta on the weekend was great. A bit short, they only played 9 songs and 6 of them were from the un-relased 6th album, but i really enjoyed itComment

Re: Recent Gigs & Upcoming ones
Their official statement doesn't really explain it.......
I have heard that 'the second-biggest headliner' pulled out. Now this would be a band they hadn't even announced yet, so I can't understand why they felt the need to cancel it when we all bought tickets for the already announced line up. Something stinks....Comment

Re: Recent Gigs & Upcoming ones
They pulled a festival because Limp Bizkit pulled out!!!! Surely that's cause for celebration. They not only lost a shit band, they saved some money in the process.Park that car

Filthy about that, wasn't keen on going up to Melton but did want to get along to the gig. Would have been my last festival as an unmarried man.Time and Tide Waits For No ManComment
