Re: Recent Gigs & Upcoming ones
Just spotted that myself. Their gigs last time around were special. Be interesting to see where they are at after their first slightly disappointing album. I'll be there for sure. Tix on sale thursdayPark that car

Went to see Metallica again on Sunday night. It was the last concert of their World Magnetic tour. AWESOME concert, they did so well after 2 years & 1 month on the road. Stayed on stage until 11.40pm, great set list & I even got to rock out with WOOFs very own dfa4pm!!Comment

Re: Recent Gigs & Upcoming ones
I went to Leonard Cohen at hanging rock on Saturday . Good venue thought not intimate enough. Very hot during the day, freezing once the sun went.
I hope to see black cab this Friday at the NSC. I have tickets for the eg awards with Paul Kelly. Tonight hope to primal scream/underground lovers tickets. Thursday for Kyuss.
I also got tickets for John spencer blues explosion and the oh cees in January.
There is a lot of good stuff onComment

Re: Recent Gigs & Upcoming ones
I saw The Gin Club at Pure Pop Records in St Kilda last night - didn't even know this place existed. Little bar & stage out the back of the shop, with a tarp up thankfully given the weather.
2 hours of folk brilliance - and very down to earth characters.
I nervously approached Ben Salter to ask a Giants of Science question after the gig (i.e where are they at?) and he was super nice & approachable. One of the better live experiences I've had.
Props to St Arnou Pale Ale that was on tap there too, quite the drop!Float Along - Fill Your LungsComment

Will soon leave for the U2 concert, but it is pouring down where I live, and this could be a very interesting (and wet night).
Hoping that "the Unforgettable Fire" gets a run, but not getting my hopes up.I should leave it alone but you're not rightComment
