I'm also looking forward to Foo Fighters/Tenacious D in December, hopefully I can get GA tickets!!

Saw Boom Crash Opera & Sean Kelly at The Palms at Crown on Saturday night - fantastic concert!! BCO opened with a few acoustic songs, then the curtains parted & they had the full set up. Sean Kelly appeared in their second set & played a few Models songs with the band, as well as a BCO song that they admitted 'they had 3/4 ripped off' from The Models. They finished the night with 'Hands Up In The Air' followed by 'Out of Mind, Out of Sight'. Great venue, great atmosphere and great setlist.

I'll be there. You'll find its a name change from 'The Ennio Morricone Experience'.

What did you think? I rate that as one of the best performances of any type I've seen, just magical.

Really good. I was too far away to see all the instruments/props but I'd seen them before so I sort of knew the routine.
Loved the therimin on the song from 'once upon on a time in the west' mimicking the womens voice.

Ah missed it.

Have gone with the 6ft Hick option - cheaper, easier and their shows may be less common as Wagons flog their new album.

Oakleigh bowls club for Ed Kuepper and Mark Dawson Frday September 9th. Sitting at the "table at the front" whatever that means. Chops are you going? Do you know what they will be playing?


Bethcha we make the bloody finals and play our elimination final that night!


Or the next night when they play the Northcote Social Club.

Jealous. Tried my heart out to get something just got the seating in section 'O' option followed by GA allocation exhausted.

Will hopefully secure them first thing Monday morning

I grabbed a few of the Cd's on sale on the way out. Thought the band playing outside were reasonable, Mikelangelo and the Tin Star. Good concept. I went to the show with a few blokes who are embarking on a similar type of project fusing some dirty rock with spaghetti western tones and doing instrumental pieces. Really looking forward to seeing what they can do with it.

I got tickets!!! I'm so pumped! Silver level 3, I think I'm going to be up in the heavens. There was pretty slim pickings at 12.01pm when I got through though (after hitting refresh about 70 times in the 10 minutes leading up to the release! ).

Kept trying for GA and got nada. Went back to main menu and noticed a 2nd show - Got GA tickets to the 2nd show!
