Re: Recent Gigs & Upcoming ones
If they like that stuff i have friends in bands called Bronson and Frankenbok, they played the other week at the Tote reopening.
Bronson and Ill Omen both have facebook.
I am trying to get all 3 bands to play together in the west, Werribee or Melton, but will be after xmas as one member of Bronson is getting married.Bring back the biffComment

I didn't get tickets to Maiden's sideshow, just couldn't afford three $150 gigs with that, Soundwave and MetallicaComment

Re: Recent Gigs & Upcoming ones
I went to Soundwave this year purely for Faith No More, but also enjoyed Anthrax, Alexisonfire & Janes Addiction. Was a good day - not sure about the next line-up, though QOTSA are my favourite band of all time.
Just on the Melbourne Victory forum, someone has leaked the below in bold re: BDO lineup info - I'll be very happy if this pans out....it's 1995 all over again
We can now say that with some arm twisting we’ve managed to find a leak straight from the source, the Big Day Out office. We’re prepared to say that Soundgarden will headline Big Day Out 2011 playing on the blue stage. Kings Of Leon will be the orange stage headliner. Stone Temple Pilots will also appear, as supports for Soundgarden on the blue stage.Float Along - Fill Your LungsComment

You won't be disappointed. I saw them two years ago when they came out here with that monster set list and it was an amazing show, just blew me away. Dickinson is a bloody champion.

There are a few good gigs coming up, all around the same time unfortunately. (Going to Metallica also) I thought I'd try for floor tickets to Iron Maiden, if not available I would've tried for Soundwave instead.Comment

Re: Recent Gigs & Upcoming ones
Well I've got a few coming up.
Going to see Birds of Tokyo on October 1st, but am actually going to see the support act "Silversun Pickups", who don't have a bad song to date.
Then October 15th will be the Smashing Pumpkins.
Then December 1st is U2.
Then December 14th and 15th Muse.
All should be really good, and better be considering the cost.I should leave it alone but you're not rightComment

Re: Recent Gigs & Upcoming ones
Hi. I am new to the site, I live in Perth. Any other WA members out there? I think the footy is being shown at the Inglewood on Saturday night. Last time I went there we lost so I think I'll stay home... I am so pumped, I can only imagine how the players feel....Comment

They were great 2 years ago, unfortunately we were on the upper level of Rod Laver and had to sit down.

i wasn't however able to stop myself from watching a video of 'One'.
Tell you what, it looked amazing, i'm really really pumped for this now. Just have to get through VCE firstComment
