Back to comedians I saw Arj Barker last night at the Melbourne Town Hall. Pretty funny and he only re-used two jokes that I've heard before. Didn't find him especially hilarious though. Good without being anything great.
I should leave it alone but you're not right

Going to head down to Bendigo & catch the Powderfinger tour, mostly because of Jet though

I've heard a couple reports his shows were good but not absolutely hilarious. I watched his 'Balls' 2008 dvd last night that he filmed in Sydney and couldn't stop laughing, hes so unusual

I caught the comedy festival last week, the missus likes Jason Byrne so went and saw him - he was great. I have only seen him before on the typical comedy festival shows or variety specials and was in fits of laughter. Most of his jokes were bagging aussies, scots and poms but he did it well. Uses a fair bit of audience participation too, made plenty of jokes about the Perth and Tassie girls in the front row. He finished the night of with an absolute surprise where 'audience members' turned out to be professional dancers - didn't see it coming and loved every minute of it.

Just saw the Splendour in the Grass lineup, it is phenomenal; if only it weren't in Queensland

And it looks like they've spent up big on acts this year.

Saw the Mountain Goats for about the sixth time in Adelaide on Friday night. For those that have never seen them live you should check the dates because they are always amazing.

Went and saw Henry Rollins spoken word show at the Powerhouse in Brisbane last Friday.
Fantastic show. 2:5 hours of Henry's ramblings with nary even a pause for a sip of water from Ole Henry.

To top off a great evening, I came home and watched the Dogs smash the Crows!

My daughter is begging me to let her go, but at age 16, no way. BTW, she is a big Ratatat fan (don't mind them myself)

I have relented for Groove in the Moo in Bendigo this weekend.

Metallica are playing Rod Laver Arena 18th November, tickets on sale 13th May, or 11th May for presale. Looks like they're playing 'in the round'. Should be good.
